When we pay thousands of our hard-earned money to an airline company while booking our tickets, we are concerned about our safety, we want airlines companies our safety is their foremost priority and whatever they are making us pay for just for their profit.

However, recently, a video released by Gaurav Taneja, ex-Captain of AirAsia, youtube blogger, and a fitness influencer, reveals violating safety protocols by AirAsia, which endangered lives of passengers on board. This has left us all shocked and furious.



In the video, Gaurav alleged the AirAsia has asked its pilots to do 98 percent of landings in the "Flap 3" mode without giving consideration whether it is safe or unsafe, which allows it to save fuel. He said if a pilot does not do 98 percent of landings in the "Flap 3" mode, the airline considers it a violation of its standard operating procedure (SOP).
In the video, Taneja raised objections against the HR policy of the company and revealed that they have an ''unfavorable'' sick leave policy. He also recalled an incident where he was asked to report for work even after being sick. Gaurav mentioned that if a pilot is not feeling well, he/she cannot fly the plane as it is endangering the lives of people on board.
