Ali Abbas Zafar confirms superhero film with Katrina Kaif under the label of Netflix; To start shooting once lockdowns ends.

Bharat and Tiger Zinda Hai filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar confirmed that he has locked the first draft of a superhero movie which stars Katrina Kaif in the lead. He plans to go on a recce once the situation returns to normalcy.

Several reports were making the rounds that Katrina Kaif will be starring in Ali Abbas Zaffar directed superhero film. Filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar has finished writing his new film at his new bungalow in Dehradun. Meanwhile, Katrina and Ali's friendship date back to his debut directorial Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, which was super hit. The two share a great bond with each other and are close friends. Besides, Brother Ki Dulhan Katrina has previously worked with the Direction of Ali Abbas Zafar in movies like Tiger Zinda Hai and Bharat. ?Katrina, in many of her earlier interviews, has mentioned that she has always wanted to do a superhero film. Now, with his friend Ali she'd all set to features in one of biggest female-centric action saga.

 

 

 

The popular director said he is done writing his next superhero film that features Katrina Kaif in the lead and I have completed the first draft of another film as well, and hopefully, that script will be ready soon.  There's a lot of prep required because of the kind of action involved and I am in touch with an international team over video calls. I'm also doing script readings with my actors and chatting with the production designer. There's a lot happening," he director added. The filmmaker also said that once the lockdown opens the government permits the shooting of the films, he and Katrina will start shooting for this movie.

 

 

Katrina will be seen in the action movie Sooryavanshi opposite Akshay Kumar. The film is the fourth movie of Rohit Shetty's cop universe which started with Singham. Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh can also be seen in action in this film. Gulshan Grover, Jaaved Jaaferi, Jackie Shroff among others play crucial roles. The film was supposed to release on March 24, 2020 but was postponed indefinitely due to the Covid-19 pandemic and lockdown.
